Peter is a well-known expert on the economies of Africa. He is a highly sought-after expert and consultant for several major Swedish industrial companies and international organizations.

Additionally, Peter serves as the chairman of Sabuni & Partners and is the CEO of the consulting firm Stein Brothers AB. He is an economist and a member of the Board of Governors at Tel Aviv University. In 2019 together with Emil Uddhammar, he published the book  ”Svenska företag i Afrika- från slavhandel till IT-revolution” ("Swedish Companies in Africa – From Slave Trade to IT Revolution,") focusing on Africa and the continent's potential. In 2021, also together with Emil Uddhammar, he published the internationally acclaimed report ”China in Africa: The Role of trade, Investments and Loans Amidst Shifting Geopolitical Ambitions”.  The report was published by the well known Indian think-tank Observer Research Foundation.
