Maria is a serial entrepreneur with experience in the IT, media, education, and staffing industries. Additionally, for many years, she has been an angel investor in several companies, alongside individuals such as Thomas Sonesson and John Lundqvist.

Besides business, Maria has been involved in politics and served on the board of the Liberal Party.
